FAQ
Spinning and cycling both mean indoor cycling on a specially designed bike with adjustable resistance. Spinning is a trademarked term that can only be used by registered spinning studios.
Normal cycling sessions start at 40 minutes, but in Manhattan clubs all cycling classes are held at 60 minutes.
Wearing a heart rate monitor is not compulsory, but it will help you to better achieve your training goals. A watch can be purchased in the Manhattan Shops.
You can ride the cycling units with SPD cycling shoes, but normal sports shoes are also suitable for cycling. The pedals of our indoor bikes are equipped accordingly.
Both Manhattan clubs have their own cycling studios. These are equipped with top bikes and a special ventilation system provides the extra portion of fresh air, no matter what the weather.
Yes, please register for cycling at the reception of the respective Manhattan Club to ensure that a bike is available for your training. We reserve the bikes on a first-come-first-served basis.
